BROADCAST NOTES: Tips at Portland (3/11)

Woke up like this. There have been worse road wake-up visuals.

The picture for the Silvertips postseason is also getting much more clear. They’ve already clinched a berth and home ice advantage in the first round.

Tonight: if they win at Portland, they clinch their 6th U.S. Division title and back-to-back top Conference record honors. The magic number is 3 points to get it done, and tonight is a “4-point swing” game.

Not to mention: Patrick Bajkov needs just one more goal and an assist to break another Tips record: single season for points.

Quick turnaround even with the “spring forward” thing: naps and coffee are today’s friend. See you on the radio and the drops in #RipCity at 5:00pm.
